Step 1:Regal factory headunit


Step 2:Remove the decoration panel at the bottom with plastic scraper.


Step 3:Remove the left decoration panel.


Step 4:Lift the 3 latch, then remove the right decoration panel.


Step 5:The surrounding decoration panel removed.


Step 6:Remove the monitor panel as shown in the picture.


Step 7:Unplug all the connectors behind the factory monitor, then remove the factory monitor.


Step 8:Undo the screws, then remove the panel of factory headunit.


Step 9:Unplug the data lines (4 lines) behind the factory headunit panel.


Step 10: Remove the screws and slide out the factory headunit.


Step 11:Unplug the power wire, aerial behind the headunit. (Mind the dash in position against it.)


Step 12:Unplug the side board of the glove box.
 

Step 13:Remove the 4 screws used to fix the glove box.


Step 14:Slide out the glove box.


Step 15:Slide out the inner diaphragm of the glove box


Step 16:Open the glove box, be careful with the tracks on both sides.

Step 18:Plug the power wire and AUX wire etc of new headunit.


Step 19:Put the harness of the new headunit through the opening


Step 20:Well plan the connectors behind the glove box.


Step 21:Direct at the groove along both sides of the glove box and push the new headunit inside.


Step 22:Push the new headunit in the right position.


Step 23:See if the two latch at the back of the new headunit fasten the glove box.


Step 24:Fix the GPS aerial.


Step 25:data lines, GPS aerial and audio & video cables etc (optional: rearview camera, digital TV aerial etc)


Step 26:Put the power wire, data lines & the blue and green lines of AUX wire linked through the opening on the left to the position of the monitor.


Step 27: Pull out the power wire and the data lines from the monitor, pull out AUX wire from the factory headunit.

 

Step 28: Mount back the glove box and fix the screws


Step 29:Mount back the side board of the glove box.


Step 30:The accessory B mounted.


Step 31:Remove the factory monitor.


Step 32:Remove the left & right switch panel of outlet and the 4 metal latch.


Step 33:Mount the left & right outlets, switch panel and metal latch onto the new monitor. (Mind the dash in position against it.)


Step 34:New monitor mounted.


Step 35:Put the AUX wire in the left side panel on passenger’s side, then lead it to the handrail box.


Step 36:Fix the AUX wire with staple tape along the inside of the handrail box, then stick it in the AUX hold inside the handrail box.


Step 37:Stick the screen protection mat onto the factory monitor, then protect the monitor.


Step 38:Plug the longer end of the conversion lines.


Step 39:Mount fixed stand


Step 40:Put the fixed stand as shown in the picture


Step 41:Put the conversion lines in the position of the monitor above, then connect it with the factory plug.


Step 42:Connect the blue data lines of the AUX wire with the factory blue lines (11 terminal) and pack it with insulating tape.


Step 43:Connect the green data lines of the AUX wire with the factory green lines (28 terminal) and pack it with insulating tape.


Step 44:Plug the power wires and aerial of factory headunit and mount them.


Step 45:Plug the data lines of the factory headunit panel and mount them.


Step 46:Plug the power wire, data lines and conversion lines of new monitor, then test the functions.


Step 47:Mount the new monitor.


Step 48:Mount the decoration panel.


Step 49:Replacement finished.


Step 50:Test all the functions.
